Kristina Bant, an LA beach city native, is a professional photographer, yoga instructor, and wellness expert. With a degree from the University of Southern California’s School of Architecture, it wasn’t until modeling around the world for some amazing photographers, including Troy Plota and Walter Iooss, when her passion for photography was ignited. Kristina quickly realized that she much preferred being behind the camera taking the pictures. A few generous photographers shared their knowledge, even saying,  “Here, take a roll!”

Kristina’s photography has been featured in People and Total Film magazines, and on Good Morning America and MSNBC, among many other online and print publications. Among the countless celebrities she has been thrilled to photograph are Smokey Robinson, Trisha Yearwood, Shawn Merriman, and  Lou Diamond Phillips. As a photographer for The Boot Campaign, Kristina captured the bravery of our U.S. military in her photos, to cultivate awareness, express their patriotism and sacrifice, and to garner assistance for our nation’s military service members and their families. With her son, Charlie, foremost in mind, she has also worked tirelessly for the cause closest to her heart, expressing through photography the huge triumphs over enormoous challenges, with her campaign and book project, #THISisAutism: Life Through the Other Lens, designed to broaden the world’s view of autism. In 2016, Kristina was awarded the Single Mom’s Planet ~ Women with Vision ~ Woman of the Year!

Kristina is enjoying time with her now teenage son, sharing her passion for yoga, and working on select photography projects. Capitalizing on her unique experiences on all sides of the camera, as a model, as a client and editor, and as the photographer, Kristina loves to share her joy of photography as art. A collection of her favorite images, from her own travels and personal exploration, have been curated to express what she sees in her “#LifeThroughtheOtherLens.” These select images are numbered and signed, limiting the number of replications, ensuring they are truly a piece of art to be collected.
